If anyone, Ejnar Pedersen is the grand old man of Danish furniture making. As founder of PP Møbler, he has made a lasting mark on the Danish furniture scene – known abroad for the work by designers such as Hans J. Wegner and Poul Kjærholm. Ejnar worked closely with both. Ejnar finished his training as joiner in 1943 and in 1953 he founded PP Møbler with his brother. With a never failing pride in good craftsmanship and an uncompromising take on furniture production, Ejnar is the hand behind many classics of Danish design. Ejnar handed over the chair of PP Møbler to his son Søren, but he is still active, giving professional advice and developing new products.
