Dining Table (OS)

Frame in stainless steel. Reversible tabletop in black linoleum and white laminate. Edge in ash.

Years ago, architect Ole Schjøll designed a dining table that was only produced as a prototype. A table where circle and cube meet and are united in the form of a round tabletop on a square steel-wire base, unmistakably related to his Wire Table, which was the first piece of furniture put into production by A. Petersen. Later, the Dining Table joined the family. The frame is made of stainless steel wire, produced and shaped by FK Trådindustri in central Jutland and subsequently welded together by Mikkel Kjærholm. The reversible tabletop and the two sides are a combination of black linoleum and white laminate. The table edge is in untreated light ash, which strikes a warm note in contrast to the cool steel wire. With a diameter of 145 cm, the Dining Table has ample room for a family of three, four or five and is also ready to welcome guests, as eight people can easily fit around the table. If you are in the mood for a change, just turn the tabletop around and change the expression from black to white, or vice versa.
